Our aim is to promote and encourage the sport of archery to the best of our ability.
The club was formed in 2001 and affiliates to The Grand
National Archery Society (GNAS or Archery UK), the
Welsh Archery Association (WAA) and the Powys
Archery Association (PAA).
We are a target archery club and cater mainly for recurve (freestyle) and barebow but all
bow disciplines are welcome. Archery is an ideal family sport as juniors and adults all shoot from the same line
only at different distances, in some tournaments with a handicap system in place the juniors will often
equal or better the adults.
We can provide equipment for initial training and trying the sport, however it is a sport where
the equipment needs to be tuned to the archer in order to achieve the best results.

Visitors are welcome to our outdoor shooting sessions on the Cricket Club grounds in
Llanwrtyd Wells in the summer or at our indoor venue in the school sports hall on a Tuesday night in the winter.
